Sony Ericsson LiveView Android Mini-Display

Cell phone accessory called LiveView recently introduced Sony Ericsson. LiveView is basically a wireless micro-screen (1.3 inch color OLED) that can be connected to the phone via bluetooth. To use LiveVew, your phone must run Android 2.0 or above and of course must be equipped with Bluetooth. An application called the Sony Ericsson Livewire Manager must also be installed for your cell phone can communicate with LiveView.

Features offered by the LiveView including:

Displays the phone number of incoming calls, SMS, RSS Feeds, Facebook & Twitter Update as well as time and date.

Sony Ericsson includes a clip for clipping the LiveView on clothes or bags. There is also a bracelet tied for LiveView to like a wristwatch. According to the official website of Sony Ericsson, LiveView will be compatible with Android phones such as Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, Xperia X10 Mini and Xperia X10 Mini Pro. Android phones from other brands called LiveView is compatible with Samsung Galaxy S, and HTC Desire.

Wait a minute, Asus is releasing the source code of the tablets hives? Before Google has Android 3.0 source code available? Well, not quite – Asus has only one code from the Linux kernel release of the operating system. This is a very commendable step from Asus, especially when you consider that other manufacturers have not released the source code of their androids even weeks after the launch.

Therefore I’m just feeling that the Asus with the market not only Android-tablet Transformer after the chaos and disappointments of recent weeks, but still able to steer in a positive direction.

Anyone who is interested in the source code surf the official product page of the transformer is selected in the box below the product image in the tab “Download” and then “Android”. However, the page seems to have a problem – we hope that the “only” on rush of modders and developers and that Asus should remove the source code again.

Update: Motorola DROID FRG83D Rolling Out

Today Motorola DROID has been rolling out an update (FRG83D) through the Android 2.2 Froyo. DROID FRG83D will bring change, including new versions of applications found in the official Twitter, either an updated version from Amazon and News & Weather widget, improved Exchange ActiveSync, and the new Gmail UI. You can see all the details of the PDF files contained on Verizon official website.

DROID FRG83D update will be gradual, this is done to produce a good update and get everything installed. We all hope, Verizon and Motorola will immediately update to the Android 2.3 Gingerbread future.
